Over 130 Attend PA Wastewater Conference And Trade Show

More than 130 individuals attended the first decentralized PA Wastewater Conference and Trade Show recently held at the Lancaster County Convention Center & Lancaster Marriott. Highlights of the conference included legislative updates, current information on how EPA has provided management guidance to individual states, and an update on the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act.
The speakers addressing those in attendance demonstrated firsthand knowledge of the industry and enabled those present to take information back to their place of business and put it into practice immediately.
Attendees also had the chance to mix and mingle at the Trade Show where the following companies showed their wares, including Advance Pump & Equipment, Inc., Atlantic Solutions, LTD, Bord na Mona, Century Paper, Ecoflo of PA, Eldredge Equipment Services, Inc., Heritage Truck Equipment Inc., Imperial Industries Inc., Latchlaw Montgomery & Peck, Inc., Lely Manufacturing Inc., Penn Jersey Products, Inc., Pennsylvania Association of Professional Soil Scientists, Pik Rite Inc., Poly Portables, Polylok, PreDoc, Inc., Presby Environmental, Inc., Roth Global Plastics, Inc., SoilAir of PA, The Pennsylvania State University - Franklin County Cooperative Extension and Trident Insurance Services of New England, Inc.
The Conference is produced by the PA Septage Management Association in cooperation with the National Association of Wastewater Transporters, the Pennsylvania Association of Professional Soil Scientists and the Pennsylvania Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association.
The 2011 Conference will be held January 23 - 25, 2011 at the Lancaster County Convention Center.
