Help Wanted: PA Resources Council Environmental Education Specialist

The PA Resources Council is looking to fill an Environmental Education Specialist position in the Harrisburg-Central Pennsylvania Region.
            Primary duties involve presentation of PRC’s various Environmental Education curricula to students in grades K-8, on occasion, grades 9-12.  Topics include Watershed Awareness, Alternative Energy, Litter & Recycling, Greener Lifestyles, Pennsylvania Songbirds, and Environmental Careers. 
            Basic qualifications for the position are a Bachelors Degree in Education with 1+ year of teaching experience, including science education or Bachelors Degree in Ecology, Environmental, or other Science discipline with 2+ years in Environmental Education programming.  Bachelor’s Degree in other disciplines with relevant teaching experience may be considered.  PA Teaching Certification a plus.
