The March issue of Environmental Synopsis published by the Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee features an overview of Marcellus Shale natural gas issues in the Commonwealth.

            Also included are articles on recent snow storms and global warming, alternative energy use by the Department of Defense, and the role of nuclear power in the future.

            Rep. Scott Hutchinson (R-Venango) serves as Chair of the Committee and Sen. Ray Musto (D-Luzerne) serves as Vice Chair.
