Calendars House (April 19): House Bill 80 (Vitali-D-Delaware) expanding the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards and authorizing a carbon sequestration network. Senate (April 12): Senate Bill 85 (Musto-D-Luzerne) providing for an independent counsel for the Environmental Quality Board. Bills Introduced The following bill of interest was introduced this week-- Electric Competition: House Resolution 711 (Boback-R-Columbia) directing the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to undertake a study of the availability of competitive electric generation suppliers in service territories.
