Applications For Conservation District Education Mini-Grants Due April 1

Applications for up to $2,000 for educational projects that address Nonpoint Source Pollution Prevention strategies for conservation districts are available from the PA Association of County Conservation Districts.  The deadline for applications is April 1.
This funding allows conservation districts to implement adult educational programs to increase local awareness of water quality issues, promote the theme “We All Live Downstream,” and encourage citizen participation in activities to improve water quality in local watersheds.
Funding for this program is made possible through a grant from the Department of Environmental Protection under Section 319 of the Clean Water Act, administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
