Save The Date: Water-Energy Sustainability Symposium In Pittsburgh September 26-29
|
The Ground Water Protection Council and other partners will hold a Water and Energy In Changing Climates Symposium in Pittsburgh on September 26-19. A host of radical changes has brought both water and energy management to the brink of crisis. Political, economic and technological climates have undergone as much transformation as the natural climate. The ever-growing population and the increasing demands of that population on water and energy resources are adding to the challenge.
Now more than ever, water and energy planners need to share and learn from each other and from experts in their professional communities.
In 2009, the Council held the Water Energy Sustainability Symposium: Water & Energy in the 21st Century in Salt Lake City, UT which began to identify and address many water energy sustainability issues.
At last year’s symposium, 26 national and regional non-profit organizations with water and/or energy protection and/or conservation, as a component of their mission, joined to become the Water/Energy Sustainability Partners for this highly productive and enlightening event.
The Council is looking for presenters to be part of this conference as well as sponsors to make it happen.
