DCNR Opens New Webpage On Marcellus Shale Drilling

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources opened a new webpage this week on natural gas exploration on State Forest lands. The webpage offers sections on: the history of State Forest gas exploration, managing the impacts of drilling, gas leasing policy and process, leased acres and statistics, management challenges, oil and gas resources, forest sustainability and a page of FAQs.
