West Chester University To Launch Education For Sustainability Certificate Programs
|
West Chester University's College of Education will inaugurate two certificate programs in Education for Sustainability starting in Summer 2010.
The 12-credit programs – one undergraduate, one graduate – are designed for those who want to help students, co-workers, and citizens better understand the challenge of sustainability and become active participants in solutions.
The EFS programs consist of four courses that use outdoor, experiential, and project-based learning so that participants are prepared to integrate sustainability into schools, workplaces, and communities.
