Adapting to Climate Change Conference Set For April 30 In Erie

The PA Wild Resource Conservation Program will host a climate change adaptation conference on April 30, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center in Erie.
Representatives from state and federal agencies, universities, and environmental organizations will meet to discuss the impacts of climate change on Pennsylvania’s plants and animals, how climate change may affect Pennsylvania in the future, and climate change research currently underway in the state.
Participants, who are coming from across the northeastern U.S., will also begin developing strategies to help Pennsylvania’s species deal with the future effects of climate change. These strategies will become part of Pennsylvania’s legislatively mandated Climate Change Action Plan.
For more information and to register, visit the Conference webpage.  Space is limited, so don’t wait.
