Community Tree Management Institute Offered By Penn State May 20-21

The Penn State New Kensington Campus will host a Community Tree Management Institute on May 20-21 in New Kensington, Pa.
            The seminar will provide the training required to be an effective tree commission member.  The Penn State Cooperative Extension, along with cooperating organizations, will be offering topics including:  enacting a municipal tree ordinance, contracting tree work, working with the media, and planning for trees. 
            The registration fee is $85 which includes lunch, breaks and materials (including Landscape Tree Factsheets, a $30 value).
