2011 Delaware Estuary Science & Environmental Summit Now Accepting Abstracts

The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary is now accepting abstracts for the 2011 Delaware Estuary Science and Environmental Summit on January 30 –February 2 in Cape May, N.J.  The abstracts are due no later than June 30. 
            The theme of this year’s conference is to create more effective partnerships among scientists, outreach specialists, resource managers and others with the interest in the prosperity of the Delaware Estuary.  
            Topics of interest include: climate change, communicating science through graphics, energy in the estuary, effective outreach, green cities, indicators and monitoring, language of communicating environmental messages, living resources and ecological processes, physical processes, pollutants of emerging concern, restoration, enhancement and conservation, social networking for organizations and scientists, water quality and quantity, wetlands and other habitats.
