DEP Invites Comments On Proposed TMDL Watershed Plans

The Department of Environmental Protection published notices inviting comments on seven Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) watershed plans (Pa Bulletin, page 3019 to 3021).  They include:

East Branch Fishing Creek Watershed, Columbia & Sullivan Counties:  A public meeting will be held on June 24 at 6:00 p.m. in Benton, Pa to receive comments.  Contact Bill Brown, DEP, at 717-783-2951 for more information.

Johnson Creek Watershed, Bradford County: A public meeting will be held on June 15 at 6:00 p.m. in Towanda, Pa to receive comments.  Contact Bill Brown, DEP, at 717-783-2951 for more information.

Little Shamokin Watershed, Northumberland County: A public meeting will be held on June17 at 6:00 p.m. in Sunbury, Pa to receive comments.  Contact Bill Brown, DEP, at 717-783-2951 for more information.

Lower Little Swatara Creek Watershed, Schuylkill County: A public meeting will be held on June 16 at 6:00 p.m. in Pine Grove, Pa to receive comments.  Contact Bill Brown, DEP, at 717-783-2951 for more information.

Mud Creek Watershed, Columbia & Montour Counties: A public meeting will be held on June 21 at 6:00 p.m. in Danville, Pa to receive comments. Contact Bill Brown, DEP, at 717-783-2951 for more information.

Yellow Creek Watershed, Bedford & Blair Counties: A public meeting will be held on June 23 at 6:00 p.m. in New Enterprise, Pa to receive comments. Contact Bill Brown, DEP, at 717-783-2951 for more information.
