DCNR Offers Lehigh Valley Sustainable Lands Bus Tour June 22

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will offer a one-day Lehigh Valley Sustainable Landscapes Bus Tour on June 22
The tour is designed to demonstrate ideas and best management practices to manage your lands through cost effective, environmentally friendly ways. Sustainable landscapes balance the needs of people with natural resource protection.
The tour will include a golf course, parks, industrial complex and other land uses that have incorporated the principles of sustainability into their day-to-day management and have saved money by doing so.
The cost is $25, which includes continental breakfast, box lunch, transportation and handouts. Please register by June 11.
