Clearfield Gas Well Blowout Subject Of Senate Hearing June 16

The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee will hold a briefing on the Clearfield County Marcellus Shale gas well blowout on June 16.
Department of Environmental Protection Secretary John Hanger and a representative of the Marcellus Shale Coalition have been invited to brief the Committee and respond to questions.
The hearing will be held in the Senate Majority Caucus Room starting at 10:00.
Sen. Mary Jo White (R-Venango) serves as Majority Chair and Sen. Ray Musto (D-Luzerne) serves as Minority Chair.
