June 24 PPL Webinar To Help Small, Mid-Sized Businesses Cut Energy Costs

PPL will hold a webinar on June 24 starting at 1:30 to give information on programs that provide heating and cooling system tune-ups, rebates for purchasing energy efficient equipment and other energy saving incentives.
Under its e-power program, PPL offers companies rebates for buying many different types of energy-efficient equipment, from a new refrigerator for the employee break room, to more sophisticated industrial appliances.
The e-power program also offers incentives to firms that can demonstrate they have changed other aspects of their business, such as altering a manufacturing process, to save energy. A third program offers heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractors incentives to buy sophisticated equipment to diagnose and repair inefficiencies at their customers' locations.
"We really want to reach out to all the customer segments, and the business sector is a big power user. We want to make sure they are aware of the great programs we have under the e-power label that can help them save energy," said spokesman Joe Nixon.
