Environmental Heritage- 15th Anniversary Of The Department of Conservation And Natural Resources

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, formed after the split of the prior Department of Environmental Resources in July of 1995 into DCNR and the Department of Environmental Protection. To help mark the anniversary, DCNR is re-publishing a series of articles marking important events, news, notes and features from its Resource online newsletter.
The first feature is about the impact of Hurricane Floyd in 1999.
