Pennsylvania To Host National Brownfields Conference April 3-5 In Philadelphia

The 2011 National Brownfields Conference will be held April 3-5 in Philadelphia. The conference, sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the International City/County Management Association.
The Conference has also issued a call for presentation proposals by July 30.
This is the largest, most comprehensive event in the nation focused on community and economic revitalization and typically attracts more than 5,000 attendees and 250 exhibitors.
Conference organizers currently are seeking presentation ideas for the conference including ideas for full sessions, short presentations, and the poster gallery. Ideas can range from fully general session ideas to fully developed presentations.
The educational program for the conference is developed from the ideas and suggestions submitted.   All ideas are welcome, but organizers are particularly interested in topics in these categories:  Community Engagement and Environmental Justice, Green Jobs, Green Technology and Emerging Solutions, Planning for Community Revitalization, Sustainability, the Path Forward, and The Business of Brownfields.
To submit an idea or for more information, visit the National Brownfields Conference website.
