Trout Unlimited Requesting Proposals For AMD Technical Assistance Consultant
|
Trout Unlimited is requesting proposals from consulting firms that specialize in abandoned mine drainage remediation to provide technical assistance through TU’s Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) program.
Proposals are due August 6.
TU’s TAG program has been providing AMD technical assistance to watershed groups, TU chapters, and other organizations working to address AMD since 2004, and a recent Department of Environmental Protection Growing Greener grant has allowed this program to continue for the next two years.
TU’s TAG program is available statewide; however projects located in the West Branch Susquehanna River basin may be given priority because of TU’s current role in leading the West Branch Susquehanna Restoration Initiative.
A copy of the RFP is available online.
Please direct questions to AMDinfo@tu.org (no phone calls will be accepted.) Send proposals to Trout Unlimited, AMD Technical Assistance Program, 18 E. Main St, Suite 3, Lock Haven, PA 17745 (no proposals via email will be accepted).
