Help Wanted: Western PA Conservancy Assistant Director Watershed Manager

Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has an opening in its Watershed Conservation Program for an Assistant Director/Watershed Manager.  
            This position assists the Senior Director, Watershed Conservation and Conservation Services with everyday management of the Watershed Conservation Program.  Also manages watershed conservation activities and functions as the local liaison within the Ohio River watershed.    The position is located in Blairsville, Pa.
            The successful candidate will have a master’s degree or equivalent work experience in watershed science, stream ecology, wetlands ecology, or biohydrology.  Five to seven year’s experience with hands-on projects to remediate threats to watershed conservation targets is required.  Familiarity with watershed assessment and planning is desired.  Must be able to raise program funds from both private and public sources.  Prior supervisory/management experience is required.  This is a full time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
