The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Healthy Waters Blog for Region III this week highlights the progress being made in wastewater cleanup in Presque Isle Bay in Erie County.

             There is a new initiative to learn more about Presque Isle Bay beyond its recovery. Although Pennsylvania once declared Lake Erie's southern shore an area of concern because of contamination, it has been transformed into an Area of Recovery through cleanup efforts.
