Delaware Estuary Pennsylvania Coast Day Set For September 11

The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary and its partners will host the 2010 Pennsylvania Coast Day on September 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia.
Landlubbers will enjoy more than 20 interactive displays and children’s activities near the RiverLink Ferry terminal.  All this and more will be available to the public for free.
A free afternoon shuttle will be available to take you to and from the nearby Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center.  Visitors can discover a boatload about the Schuylkill River, its vast watershed, and much more at this historical landmark. Other aquatic attractions are also within easy walking distance, including the Independence Seaport Museum (special $5 admission).
For additional information, or to become an exhibitor (Word file) at this free festival, please contact Cheryl Jackson at 800-445-4935, ext. 112, or send email to: CJackson@DelawareEstuary.org
