The camp will teach the science behind Trout Unlimited initiatives and  fishing and as well as providing a hands-on learning experience that ties fly fishing to science and vice versa.
Based on the model used for the Rivers Conservation and Fly Fishing Youth Camp the camp will include topics such as geology, aquatic entomology, wetlands, riparian buffers, the biology of pollution, stream habitat and the politics of water.
In addition there will be classes on stream etiquette, fly tying, bugs and their imitations and a round table discussion on trout and fisheries science.  Space has been allotted to include discussion on conservation topics or relevance.
A substantial amount of time has been set aside to allow the attendees to fish in the world famous Yellow Breeches Creek as well as other special regulation trout waters in the area.
