Northeastern PA Trails Forum Workshop In Scranton December 2

The Lackawanna Heritage Valley, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Pennsylvania Environmental Council and other partners will host the Northeastern PA Trails Forum Workshop on December 2 in Scranton.

The event is open to organizations, agencies, and local governments in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, Pike, Monroe, Carbon, Wyoming, and Susquehanna Counties that are involved with multi-purpose recreational trails, mountain biking or snowmobile trails, park or municipal trails, or trails on public or private lands.
The NEPA Trails Forum Workshop is a great opportunity for trail organizations to:  meet each other and network, share information about their organization's trail project, learn about the trail projects that other groups are working on, understand how each project fits into the larger trail network in Northeastern Pennsylvania, review maps of trails throughout the region and develop an alliance of regional trail organizations.
Trail organizations, nonprofit organizations, nature and environmental centers, land trusts and conservancies, state and federal parks, city and county parks and recreation departments, heritage areas, municipalities and local governments, and state and federal government agencies are all invited to attend. Organizations outside of Northeastern Pennsylvania are welcome to attend the workshop.
For registration and more information, visit the Northeastern PA Trails Forum Workshop webpage.
