Environmental Synopsis Out, Environmental Issues Forum Sept. 27 On Carbon Trading

The September issue of Environmental Synopsis is now available from the Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee. The Committee is also sponsoring an Environmental Issues Forum on September 27 at noon on carbon trading in Room G-50 Irvis Building.
This September Synopsis features stories on re-watering the Delaware Canal, electronics waste recycling, 8 PA counties with potential water shortages, wind energy capacity, Department of Energy stimulus funding and Chesapeake Bay restoration bill in Congress. Rep. Scott Hutchinson (R-Venango) serves as Chair and Sen. Ray Musto (D-Luzerne) serves as Vice Chair of the Committee.
