Volunteer Ambassadors For Delaware River Now Being Recruited

Calling all tree huggers, river rats, anglers, photographers, geocachers, birders, walkers, bikers, and anyone else who hangs out on or in the Tidal Delaware River. It's time to share your enthusiasm for the river with others!
The PA Environmental Council is looking for our first class of Tidal Delaware River Ambassadors who will organize activities that get people on the Delaware River's tidal section (Trenton/Morrisville to Marcus Hook).
Activities could include kayak trips, fishing derbies, bike rides, cleanups, boating skills training or other recreational activities. Each Ambassador will organize 3-5 activities each year.
Space is limited for this leadership role. To apply, complete the online form.
Selected candidates will complete at 6-8 week training session on Delaware River history, ecology and recreation.
