The Environmental Quality Board, Public Utility Commission and the departments of Environmental Protection and Agriculture published regulations this week.
The Environmental Quality Board meets on December 21 to consider a nearly $8 million increase in permit and administration fees associated with the dam safety ($933,495 increase) and waterway management ($7,052,390 increase) programs, the redesignation of Aquashicola Creek in Carbon and Monroe counties and the withdrawal of the petition to redesignate tributaries of the Southfork of Tenmile Creek in Greene County. The Environmental Quality Board published notice of final-form regulations covering the beneficial use of coal ash, including an increase in permit fees which will raise an additional $75,000 a year.
The Department of Environmental Protection published notice of extension for the PAG-13 NPDES General Permit covering stormwater discharges from municipal separate storm sewer systems.
The Public Utility Commission published notice of Interim Guidelines for Filing Electric Transmission Line Siting applications.
The Department of Agriculture published notice of final-form regulations making changes in regulations implementing the Pesticide Control Act, including to the Pesticide Hypersensitivity Registry.
