Susquehanna Greenway Photo Entries Due January 15
|
January 15 is the deadline for submitting entries to the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership's 1st Annual "Treasured Towns and Landscapes" Photo Contest. The Partnership is looking for photos that tell the story of the Susquehanna Greenway, a corridor of interconnected trails, parks, river access points, and conserved areas, linking people to the natural and cultural treasures of the Susquehanna River and its West Branch.
Nearly 500 miles in length, the Greenway is one of the state’s greatest resources -- balancing the needs of generations today and tomorrow, conserving the environment for all living things, and creating recreational opportunities for healthy and sustainable communities.
The Partnership is seeking photos that help tell the stories of the Susquehanna, photos that celebrate the Susquehanna and her River Towns as places of timeless value, shared memories and experiences – places to use and enjoy and to treasure always.
For entry information, visit the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership website.
