Bills Introduced
The following bills of interest were introduced this week (note, some bills may not be online yet)--
Mineral Lease Disclosure: Senate Bill 91 (Greenleaf-R-Montgomery) further providing for gas mineral rights lease agreement disclosures. Frack Chemical Disclosure: Senate Bill 127 (A.Williams-D-Philadelphia) providing for the disclosure of frack chemicals and requiring surface impoundment monitoring.
Air Quality Penalties: Senate Bill 151 (Pileggi-R-Delaware) providing for the sharing of fines imposed under the Air Pollution Control Act with municipalities.
PennVEST Eligibility: Senate Bill 152 (D.White-R-Indiana) further providing for the eligibility of non-point source management projects, including specifically urban stormwater projects under PennVEST.
Energy Use Reduction: Senate Bill 153 (Folmer-R-Berks) providing for the reduction of energy use in State buildings and motor vehicle fleet.
