Special One Day Program on the Rewards of Energy Management, AAI Rule

On March 15 the Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Council, URS Corporation and Post & Schell are sponsoring a free seminar on implementing EPA’s new All Appropriate Inquiry Rule in connection with environmental assessments and the financial rewards of energy management.

EPA is on track for implementing the new All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) Rule in late 2005. The new regulatory rules and guidelines will have an impact on those buying or selling real estate. It is vital that those involved in commercial property transactions stay current on the relevant issues to ensure they are conducted with the environmental due-diligence necessary in these transactions.

The program will also include providing new tools to make energy decisions that are good for the environment and the bottom line, especially with today’s high energy prices.

Good energy management also provides environmental benefits in reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and in waste heat.

The seminar will run between 8:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at URS Corporation Ft. Washington Office located in Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania. Lunch will be provided following the seminar.
