The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) has opened registration for the Riverfront Communities: A Susquehanna Symposium to be held June 8-10 in Harrisburg.

The symposium will deal with the challenges and opportunities common to riverfront communities throughout the Susquehanna River Basin - in New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The symposium is tailored for elected officials, representatives of business and industry, environmental and conservation organizations, government agencies, advocates for healthy communities and greenways, and anyone else who wants to exchange ideas for using and conserving their rivers' resources to improve their communities.

In addition, a variety of concurrent sessions will be held in five overall tracks, including: (1) Recreation, (2) Economic Development, (3) River Corridor Management, (4) Susquehanna Greenway Partnership and (5) Hands-On Training.
