Senate: the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee meets to consider  Senate Bill 151 (Pileggi-R-Delaware) providing for the sharing of Air Pollution Control Act fines and penalties,  Senate Bill 265 (MJ White-R-Venango) amending the Coal and Gas Resource Coordination Act to further provide for drilling through coal reserves, Senate Bill 302 (MJ White-R-Venango) further providing for reporting the use of monies from the Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund, Senate Bill 303 (MJ White-R-Venango) further providing for reports under the Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act, Senate Bill 304 (MJ White-R-Venango) further providing for review of Air Pollution  State Implementation Plans; the Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee meets to consider Senate Bill 325 (Baker-R-Luzerne) authorizing the PUC to have jurisdiction over certain pipelines.   <>  Click Here for full Senate Committee Schedule.

Natural Gas Severance Tax: House Bill 33 (Vitali-D-Delaware) establishing a Marcellus Shale natural gas production severance tax.

State Building Energy Efficiency: House Bill 547 (Petri-R-Bucks) providing for state government building energy efficiency.

Hunting On State Lands: House Bill 576 (Baker-R-Tioga) providing for opening lands managed by DCNR for hunting.

Remining Enhancement Fund:  House Bill 603 (Hutchinson-R-Venango) further providing for the Remining Environmental Enhancement Fund by providing grants.

Leasing Other State Lands: House Bill 604 (Hutchinson-R-Venango) providing for the leasing of other state lands for drilling and mineral right development.

Reclamation & SwitchgrassHouse Bill 608 (Brooks-R-Crawford) providing incentives for using switchgrass for the reclamation of abandoned mines.

Environmental Advisory Councils: House Bill 613 (Deasy-D-Allegheny) further providing for environmental advisory councils.

Abandonment Of Gas Rights: Senate Bill 445 (Yaw-R-Bradford) providing for the abandonment of mineral rights.

Drilling Requirements:Senate Bill 447 (Yaw-R-Bradford) consolidating the Oil and Gas Conservation Law and adding provisions establishing the Unconventional Oil and Gas Unit Establishment Act.

Oil & Gas Leasing: Senate Bill 460 (Yaw-R-Bradford) further providing for oil and gas leasing payments.

Stormwater Planning: Senate Bill 452 (Erickson-R-Delaware) further providing for watershed-based stormwater management planning.

Environmental Liability Insurance: Senate Bill 454 (Erickson-R-Delaware) establishing a program for the purchase of certain types of environmental liability insurance within DEP.
