A new environmental educators workshop, "What's So Special About The Hopewell Big Woods?" will be held on May 2 at French Creek State Park in Elverson, Chester County.
This 1‐day workshop, based on Environment and Ecology and Language Arts Standards, will introduce k‐12 educators about the important plants, animals, places and people of the Hopewell Big Woods; the largest unbroken forest area in Southeastern PA.
This is a full day workshop qualifies for Act 48 credits and includes a full lunch for only $10. We are really excited to be able to offer this again, as our workshop in 2009 was very well received and attended. Space limited to 40, so sign up today.
K‐12 public, private, and home school teachers, environmental educators, and scout leaders from Berks, Chester and Montgomery are welcome! Please see the attached flier and brochure for details and registration form, it's going to be a lot of fun.
