March 12 Nature Of Gardening Winter Workshop: Landscapes For Life

The Green Valleys Association is hosting a March 12 workshop called the Nature of Gardening, Landscapes for Life at the Green Valleys Association at Welkinweir office in Pottstown, Montgomery County.
Landscapes for Life is a new project of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the United States Botanic Garden, along with American Society of Landscape Architects, which shows how to work with nature to create a great–looking garden that's healthier for you, your family, your pets, and the environment-and that saves you time and money.
Presenters include: Ray Mims, U.S. Botanic Gardens, Landscapes for Life – program overview; Russ Losco, Lanchester Soils, Assessing & Building Soil Resources; Victoria Laubach, Green Valleys Association, Protecting Water Resources; and Margot Taylor, Land Ethics, Putting It All Together in a Residential Pilot Project.
