EPA Soliciting Applications For Great Lakes Restoration Grants

The U.S. Environmental Protection is soliciting applications for grants under the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, including Lake Erie.
Applications are due April 11.  EPA will hold a webinar on the application process on March 17.
Awards of up to $40 million for about 150 Great Lakes Basin projects will target invasive species, reduce the impact of toxic substances and nonpoint pollution, protect public health, and clean up "Areas of Concern."
Governmental entities, including State pollution control agencies, interstate agencies, Tribes, local governments,  institutions of higher learning, and non-profit organizations are eligible to apply for funding.
For more information, visit the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative webpage.
