Special Water Quality Review Underway in York County

The Department of Environmental Protection is requesting information from citizens, environmental groups and businesses related to its special water quality review underway in the Deer Creek and Little Falls creek area in York County.

The review is being undertaken at the request of the Shrewsbury Township Supervisors who submitted a petition to the Environmental Quality Board to have the streams redesignated to high quality-cold water fishes.

Data should be submitted to Bob Frey, Division of Water Quality Assessment and Standards, Bureau of Water Supply and Wastewater Management, P.O. Box 8467, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8467, e-mail rofrey@state.pa.us no later than December 27.
