The Department of Environmental Protection announced it will offer a $500 rebate for residents who purchase hybrid, bi-fuel, dual-fuel or dedicated alternative fuel vehicles in 2005.

Rebates will be offered on a first come, first served basis and applications must be submitted no later than six months after vehicle purchase.

A rebate form will be made available on DEP’s Alternative Fuels webpage or by contacting Cleo Arp at 717-772-8912, or by email to carp@state.pa.us .
