PA Conservation Districts Names Robert Maiden Executive Director

The PA Association of Conservation Districts, Inc. this week named Robert Maiden will be its new Executive Director. 

            “PACD is pleased to announce that Robert Maiden will be its new Executive Director, beginning on March 21. With his education and experience we are confident that Mr. Maiden will be an exemplary leader for our association,” said PACD President MaryAnn Warren.
            Robert comes to PACD from the Department of Environmental Protection, where he most recently served as Community Relations and Revitalization consultant in the South Central Office. Prior to that post he was the Director of Legislative Affairs and Executive Assistant to the Department Secretary.
            "The Commonwealth is on the brink of a new era as it relates to our ever-evolving environment and I am committed to ensuring that the state's natural resources in our communities are protected and valued," said Robert B. Maiden, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts. "I am honored to have the opportunity to represent the 66 conservation districts and the Association and look forward to working closely with our public and private partners to continue our conservation efforts and support our future endeavors."
            Robert has a graduate degree in Public Administration from Penn State University and an undergraduate degree in political science from Syracuse University. He is a resident of Camp Hill, Pa.
