Now that spring is here, the Friends of the Wissahickon are organizing Volunteer Work Days in Wissahickon Valley Park on Saturdays beginning in April at Houston Meadow, where they are building a sustainable re-route of the trail there. FOW is also seeking volunteers to cleanup the Wissahickon Creek from top to bottom on April 30 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Please contact Bob Adams, WVWA Director of Stewardship, at 215-646-8866 ext. 14 or send email to: bob@wvwa.org.

Meet at Houston Playground at Grakyn Lane and Sequoia Road. Parking is available along the neighborhood streets in the area. Volunteers are encouraged to bike or carpool to the event.
