U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is now accepting applications for the CARE (Community Action for a Renewed Environment) grant program, a new community-based, community-driven, multimedia demonstration program.

Applications are due May 20.

The program offers financial and technical assistance to help communities understand and reduce risks caused by toxics from multiple sources and to help communities understand and reduce the risk of exposure to toxic chemicals.
