ALCOSAN Hosts Western PA's Largest Watershed, Environmental Festival Sept. 17

The Allegheny County Sanitary Authority will hold a Watershed & Environmental Festival open house on September 17 at 3300 Preble Avenue on the North Side of Pittsburgh from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. rain or shine.
            The Festival will feature guided tours of the ALCOSAN treatment plan and laboratory, microbiology and watershed life presentations, hands-on environmental activities and exhibits, games, food and fun for all ages.
            ALCOSAN is also partnering with the Rachel Carson Institute at Chatham University to present free Educator's Workshop for teachers and service providers in the Authority's service area.
