Wissahickon Native Plant Sale Set For September 23 & 24

By popular demand, the Wissahickoon Valley Watershed Association is bringing back the Native Plant Sale on September 23 & 24 at the WVWA Four Mills Barn at 12 Morris Road in Ambler, Pa.
High quality native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, ferns and grasses will be available on a first come/ first serve basis.
September 23rd is a WVWA Members Only Day from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. All are invited on September 24th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Fall is a great time to plant as the soil is usually saturated from the fall rains and the plants have all winter to get situated and begin root growth. WVWA has selected herbaceous stock for plants that bloom in the fall so that they will offer color the first year.
All the WVWA Native Plant Sale offerings are high quality attractive plants that will grace any garden or landscape. In addition to enhancing your property, buying native plants is an environmentally sound choice for the benefit of all the residents of the Wissahickon Watershed.
Please call 215-646-8866 or send email to: info@wvwa.org for more information.
