Pittsburgh Students Get Ready To Stash The Trash On October 21

The Stash the Trash program organized by the PA Resources Council continues in its nineteenth year!  This program works to get students out of the classroom and into their communities by participating in a one-day litter pickup on or near their school grounds.
All schools in the City of Pittsburgh, including public, private, parochial or charter, can take part in the fall Stash the Trash on October 21. Schools are encouraged to hold their event on a different day if they are unable to participate on the 21st.
Teachers can register their classes online by October 7 here, or by contacting Sarah Alessio Shea at 412-488-7490 ext. 236 or send email to: saraha@ccicenter.org.
PRC and the Clean Pittsburgh Commission applaud the students for their efforts to help make Pittsburgh a cleaner, safer city!
