PRC: Request Watershed Awareness Programs For Your School, Group In Southwest PA

The PA Resources Council is again offering Watershed Awareness Programs to schools and groups in Southwestern PA.
PRC's Watershed Awareness Program for elementary and middle school students is kicking off its 10th year of bringing critical watershed education to students throughout the region.
Partnering with the Allegheny County Conservation District and funded by the Department of Environmental Protection, Dominion Foundation and the Colcom Foundation, this dynamic two-session in-school program is designed to inspire & inform students about watersheds and watershed protection.
PRC is also offering four Families Working Together for the Watershed family workshops at venues across southwestern PA.
This program, also funded by DEP, will heighten interest and appreciation of water, and lay a foundation for watershed protection actions. Participants will be engaged in hands-on learning designed to increase awareness of human impact on the watershed and water quality.
For more information, or to register your classroom, family or group for either of these exciting programs, please contact Nancy Martin-Silber at 412-488-7490 ext. 247 or send email to: nancym@ccicenter.org.
