PRC Holds Final Backyard Composting Workshop Nov. 29 In Western PA

The Pennsylvania Resources Council will hold its final Backyard Composting Workshop of 2011 on November 29 at Shaler North Hills Library from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Learn how to turn your leaves, grass clippings and food scraps into a valuable resource for your spring garden. This workshop thoroughly covers how to set up a compost pile, proper maintenance and ways of using the finished compost. Participants will receive an 80 gallon Earth Machine compost bin with attendance.
