DEP Invites Comments On Revised West Branch Susquehanna TMDL

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice this week inviting comments on a proposed revision to Total Maximum Daily Load Plan for the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. (PA Bulletin page 6448)
            The TMDL is being revised to reflect a proposed NPDES permitted discharge at, or below, in-stream water quality criteria.  The permit is a renewal for the First Quality Tissue Plant in Lock Haven.
            Comments are due on the TMDL by January 3.  A copy of the proposed, revised TMDL is available online.
