Late Extra: Penn State Extension Jan. 25 Webinar: Interpreting Water Test Results

Learn how to read a water test report. Find out about the most common pollutants and get tips for managing your water system. Get your question answered. January 25, noon to 1:00 p.m.
           The first Penn State Water Resources webinar of 2012 will be presented on Wednesday, January 25 from noon to 1:00 pm. Interpreting Water Test Results, will cover the basics of understanding a water test report from a state accredited lab. Participants will learn the difference between health and aesthetic contaminants, learn about the most common pollutants found in water, and get tips on groundwater protection, well maintenance and water treatment. 
            The webinar will be presented by Susan Boser, a water quality educator for Penn State Extension in Beaver County. Susan has been an Extension educator for 12 years and holds a B.S. in Agriculture from WVU where she majored in Environmental Protection.
            How to Participate
            The live webinar will occur from noon to 1:00 p.m. and is accessible online. You can attend this webinar simply by signing in as a "guest."
