Conestoga River Planting Set For May 5 In Lancaster County

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Oregon Dairy and other partners are sponsoring a riparian buffer planting on a tributary to the Conestoga River in Lancaster County on May 5.
Restoration work will include some digging with shovels to plant trees and shrubs, but mostly hand digging to plant small plugs of native perennials. This should be a great event for kids...Come out and bring the whole family!
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with details about the event, what to bring and directions to the site, contact information, as well as a health form to complete and bring with you the day of the event.
