Help Wanted: PA Trout Unlimited Education, Outreach Intern

The PA Council of Trout Unlimited is seeking a person for our Education and Outreach Intern position.  Applications are due by May 11.
            This position will begin May 29 and go through August 17 (dates are flexible). The position will pay $10 per hour with an average of 20 hours per week. 
            The intern will be responsible for working with PATU’s Coldwater Resource Specialist to create, implement and conduct a variety of education and outreach projects. 
            Some duties include: Create educational outreach material for PA Council Trout Unlimited and other aspects related to coldwater conservation; Conducting phone surveys of Trout in the Classroom Participants and TU chapters; Assist with the administration of the TIC grant program; Create training opportunities for chapters; Update website information; Assist with workshops; Data entry for a variety of programs; Grant seeking/ writing; and Some office administration work.
            Candidates should be working towards a college degree in environmental science or education and have some interest in coldwater conservation and Trout Unlimited. He or she should be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently, and have good time management and oral communication skills. 
            This position is housed out of the Fish and Boat Commission office in Pleasant Gap. We anticipate that the person will work approximately 20hours/ week.
