Sponsorships Available

Sponsor levels begin at $350 for two meals, membership and an opportunity for gift “restoration seeds.”  Ask about higher sponsor levels that earn additional seeds and Local Donor levels that support the Lower Susquehanna chestnut breeding efforts in Lancaster and York Counties.

The members and volunteers of The Lower Susquehanna American Chestnut Restoration Branch have planted and maintained over eight thousand chestnut trees in several research and breeding orchards in York and Lancaster Counties.

Members plant, water, weed and care for the next generations of blight resistant American chestnuts that will be used for future restoration projects; give educational presentations for schools, IU 13, social and gardening clubs and conservation organizations; and also partner with local industries and other non-profits to help accomplish their goals.
