The Delaware River Basin Source Water Collaborative is hosting a free webinar in recognition of the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Drug Take-Back Day on September 25 starting at 10:00 a.m.

This free, informative webinar will provide background on Contaminants of Emerging Concern, including pharmaceuticals.

Ron MacGillivray, Delaware River Basin Commission, will describe a recent survey of CECs in the tidal waters of the Delaware River. Scott Stoner, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, will provide an overview of sources, pathways, and fate of pharmaceuticals; as well as New York's approach to addressing pharmaceuticals on a statewide basis, including drug take-back programs.
